The Macro Specialist Designation Exam from The Center for the Macro Specialist Designation

Coordinated through Strasz Assessment Systems

The Macro Specialist Designation, or M2SD, is a study program designed to help financial professionals understand how macro trends impact equity markets and how to successfully implement macro techniques in their investment analysis.

Macro has a huge influence on financial markets but still occupies very little mindshare in financial market analysis. The Center for the Macro Specialist Designation created the M2SD program to fill the void left by academia and current financial industry certifications. These programs largely exclude macro teachings from their structured financial curricula. Most academic programs in finance and business focus almost exclusively on bottom-up, stock-specific fundamental analysis, while excluding top-down macro analysis.

Non-Disclosure Agreement

You will be required to affirm that you have read and accept the terms of the M2SD Non-Disclosure Agreement on screen prior to beginning your exam. The agreement reads: "I will not disclose or provide to anyone orally, electronically, or in any other format, information about the content of this examination. I understand that all documents and examination questions are, and shall remain, the exclusive property of The Center for the Macro Specialist Designation." If you do not accept these terms, then you will not be allowed to take the exam.
